Can I refill Ink Cartridges? Will my part time or hourly employees be able to use your technology?
100% Yes and Yes. The technology behind our system is intuitive by design. Our built in step by step guide walks even a novice through the simple process of remanufacturing a cartridge. We give you a free two day training session when you buy your new system. However, you will be able to learn the basics and start remanufacturing cartridges in about one hour. No prior experience is necessary. What types of businesses can successfully implement a cartridge remanufacturing business?
Obviously you can run a stand alone business to fill ink and toner cartridges. These shops generally have very low space and personnel requirements.Photo developers and print houses are another business that can easily sell cartridge remanufacturing services. Your customers already give you high credibility in the imaging business, trusting you with their home printing applications is a natural transition.
Dry Cleaners and Convenience Stores tend to have a loyal customer base. These customers make regular visits to your facility. You could easily offer one hour or overnight service for your customers who don’t want to wait while you refill.
Entrepreneurs, find out if this business is for you. We have shipped to computer companies, print shops, even a transmission repair shop set up one of our systems in an unused carport.
What if I own several stores in multiple locations?
You need to get into this business now! If you have stores in neighboring towns, this business is defiantly for you. Assuming you can collect 10 cartridges per day and offer an overnight or one day filling service, you will be able to super charge your revenue stream form this powerful profit center. You can do it all from one piece of technology. The costs to enable satellite locations as drop centers are next to nothing. A nice drop box and a few signs is all it takes.Do I need a physical store to sell ink and toner?
Not at all! This is a business you can find many creative ways to run, even without a brick and mortar store front.
- You can run your business as a catalogue or online store out of a space no bigger than a one car garage.
- You can setup drop boxes (similar to photo development kiosks) and make profit sharing arrangements with local businesses in your community such as bakeries, food stores or dry cleaners. Anyplace that offers frequent high foot traffic could work. Partnering with a few well selected local businesses you can capture a huge share of your community’s ink and toner business without ever investing in or setting up a store.
- Get out and start selling. Speak with office managers, purchasing managers, and small business people.
- Take part in fundraisers. Have students collect empty ink cartridges and orders for your business and pay a “commission” to the school for each order. An overwhelming majority of students print out homework assignments, reports and papers. They cannot stop using ink. By raising money for their schools and saving them and their families a ton of money, you will develop customer loyalty.
